You see, my God provides

Ride'll be easier after tonights purchase. Got a super recommendation about a place to get bike stuff. Purchased brand-new clip-in shoes and pedals. It wasn't until I checked prices online that I realize that they were an incredible buy.
The pedals will take getting used to. Felt so ambitious that I clipped in and spun around the block...Like Jenny. As in J Lo.
Looking like BikePA Route S will be my path. I need to find out which towns I'll pass through exactly and start contacting people. Need to hammer out details with each day.

Recent Spin

Took Wilbur on a ride yesterday. It was a gaw-gous day. Basically, did some loops along Lake Nockamixon. I felt the urge to get on the open road and let it rip but my friend Tom had a mtn. bike and wasn't feeling that. Regardless, good to get out in creation and soak it all in. Daresay it hasn't hit me that I'm planning on doing 60 mile days-days in a row. Spoke with a law enforcement friend who cycles regularly, in the evening. We're going to touch-base over the weekend. I have to put some brainstorming into this ride. P.S. Wilbur is the name of the bike. Haha.
Thankful to my God for muscles, for the ability to pedal, for lungs to breathe, all that good stuff. He is giving me what I need to get through each moment. Selah.

VAST evening

Went to a meeting of VAST, this past Monday night. It stands for Valley Against Sex Trafficking. Was greatly encouraging to see so many different people seeking to be advocates for the oppressed, in the Lehigh Valley. I look forward to link up with them in their endeavours and to get some feedback about 'the ride'.
God's given some amazing weather these past couple of days. I feel Him in the breeze. It reassures me of His love for me, for His people. Thought about 'the ride' as I was working the other day. My eyes started to water as the thought came as I was winding down to the final leg of this upcoming ride. This, to raise awareness for a cause that is dear to the Father's heart. The excitement is building.

Nice dusk ride tonight. Bike feels comfortable. Just need to figure out the clearest way to pump up the tires. I feel a flat is inevitable. Getting one in Boyertown is doable but may prove more problematic somewhere in central Pennsylvania. This is great biking weather.

It's getting warmer. And this can only mean one thing..it's time to really pedal into higher gear. Got an email from a church contact in Indiana. I don't think I'll be passing through that area. Pedaled thirty-some odd miles this past week. Had spinning class on saturday. I need to work on my legs.
